Active Riverview Embracing Pickleball

On Feb 16 th 2012, I travelled to Riverview (Byron Dobson Arena) where I was able to demonstrate Pickleball to program director Ashley Arrowsmith and the group of seniors present. They have since acquired their own equipment and will continue to offer Pickleball in that community. I thank Ashley for the invitation and look forward to similar events throughout the province. posted by Raymond Doiron

  1. I’m wondering if there is pickleball in the winter indoors here in the Moncton area. I played it in Ontario and really enjoyed it

    • Good morning,

I am emailing to confirm that we will continue playing Pickleball every Monday at 10:30 am at Coverdale Centre (50 Runneymeade Road).

If we could have a few volunteers continue to arrive early each week to setup the nets, that would be fantastic.

Where we are still very new, we will not ask for a fee until March. As of March 2nd, it will be $2/person to play each week. This revenue will be used to cover facility and equipment maintenance costs.

If there is a cancellation of the drop in Pickleball due to a scheduled event, I will let you know via email in advance.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! Also, please feel free to share amongst your contacts that Pickleball is being played on indoor courts in Riverview!

For more information about this sport, please visit the New Brunswick Pickleball website:

There are many helpful links and information.

  2. I will be visiting Moncton for the Month of June 2014. Can someone tell me what days you play. Are visitors welcome. Look forward to hearing from you.
